Frequently Asked Questions

Wood studs are traditional 2x4 or 2x6 wooden beams, while metal (steel) studs are lighter gauge steel frames. Metal studs require special anchors and mounting techniques. We can work with both types and will use the appropriate hardware for your wall structure.

Yes, we install TVs on brick, concrete, and plaster walls. These require specialized anchors and drilling equipment. The installation process is different from drywall installations and may take longer, which is reflected in the pricing.

Yes, with proper mounting equipment. We use fireplace mounts (mantel mounts) that allow the TV to be pulled down and tilted for comfortable viewing. These mounts are designed to handle the heat and provide safe installation above fireplaces.

Raceway is an external channel that runs along the wall surface to hide cables. In-wall concealment involves running cables inside the wall for a completely invisible installation. In-wall is more complex and may require drywall work, while raceway is faster and doesn't require wall modifications.

Yes, we can install mounts that you provide. However, we recommend having us assess the mount's compatibility with your TV size and wall type before installation. Some customer-provided mounts may not be suitable for the specific installation requirements.

Most standard installations take 1-2 hours. Complex installations (fireplace mounts, in-wall cable concealment, multiple TVs, or special wall types) may take 2-4 hours. We'll provide a time estimate based on your specific requirements.

Photos of the installation location, wall type, and any existing mounts or obstacles are helpful. We also need to know your TV size, model (if possible), and the type of mount you prefer. You can upload photos in the contact form below.

Absolutely. We have experience mounting large and extra-large TVs. These installations require heavy-duty mounts and careful planning, especially for wall type and stud location. We'll ensure the mount can safely support the TV's weight.
